A Gurdjieff Work Seminar
'Movements, an approach to Reality'
A Gurdjieff Work Seminar, 'Movements, an approach to
Reality', will be held from 13 through 19 July 2002 in Niederkumbd
(close to Frankfurt), Germany.
This seminar is the result of an initiative of José
Reyes and Wim van Dullemen, who share the responsibility for
this unique event.
As the title suggest, the focus will be on Gurdjieff's Movements,
but the programme will also include physical labour several
hours each day, meditation, group exchanges on the results
of inner work, rhythmical exercises on Latin-American rhythms,
efforts towards consciously listening to music, as well as
theatrical experiments. Times of silence (obligatory) and
a fast (voluntary) will play a part as well.
Participants will spend the week collectively in a rural area
on a farm with large dormitories, and a possibility for camping.
All-in price for the whole seminar is 300 Euro.
(children free)
Both José Reyes and Wim van Dullemen have been involved
in the Gurdjieff Work for decades, have studied Movements
over many years through authentic transmission lines and both
run their own substantial groups. José in the Dominican
Republic and Wim in Holland and Germany. The main activities
of José's groups are group meetings and Movements,
while Wim's concentrate on Movements and music.
