The honorable death of Stopinder
This month, David Kherdian announced the last number of Stopinder,
the ‘Gurdjieff Journal of our Time’.
This last issue is a special on sacred art and edited by
Jim Gomez, a specialist in sacred geometry. We will not dwell
on the reasons why Stopinder had a relatively short life,
except that lack of quality certainly was not one of them!
The Stopinder-issues will soon become collectors items.
We have all reason to thank David and Nonny Kherdian for
their brave effort and quote David’s beautiful poem
which signed off Stopinder’s last issue:
‘stillness
snowfall
in the valley
across the mountain
a bird flies
in the cathedral
of the wind’
